Alliance for Sustainable Development, abbreviated ASDEV, is a non-profit organization founded by a team of Cameroonian researchers. ASDEV focuses on amplifying understudied developmental issues in Sub-Saharan Africa(SSA), to advance agricultural and community development. ASDEV aims to promote sustainable and more environmentally friendly agricultural practices such as organic agriculture and crop rotation.

Neville Ndohnwi Suh is the Team Lead founding member of ASDEV, coordinating and overseeing projects and research activities. He served as a Research Consultant and Field Supervisor for Empowerment NGO, Cameroon, Graduate Emporium Consortium (GREMPCO), Cameroon and as a Research Assistant at the Association for Biodiversity, Research and Sustainable Development (ABiRSD), Cameroon. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He is currently a PhD Research Fellow in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Ege University, Turkey. Neville is a multidisciplinary researcher with a strong focus on the application of Econometric modeling techniques in food systems (sustainability and resilience, climate, governance, food security, safe and healthy diets, food losses and waste, innovations and scaling readiness, access and willingness, and gender and youth inclusiveness and equitable benefits). He has authored over 5 research articles and reports in the areas of food quality and safety, sustainable farm management practices and climate change. Neville’s research career spans over eight years.

Gael Nkwain Ndi is an Advisor of ASDEV. He has a BSc. in Geology from the University of Buea, Cameroon and an MSc. in Petroleum Geosciences from the University of Perugia, Italy. Gael is a PhD student in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at Texas University of A&M, USA. Gael’s research interest is to document how the global climate and earth environment Are Changing. Previously, he was a Research Associate at the Iclimate Centre, Aarhus University Denmark.
ADVISOR
Norbert is the Liaison and Outreach Officer of ASDEV, and his leading role is to coordinate field projects alongside other duties. Norbert holds a BSc and MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He is currently a Doctoral student specializing in Agribusiness Project Management in the Department of Agribusiness Technology, University of Bamenda, Cameroon. He served as a Field Supervisor and Research Assistant with Empowerment NGO, Cameroon. His research interest focuses on financial inclusion, poverty alleviation and food security.
LIAISON AND OUTREACH OFFICER
Forchibe Ethelyn Echep is the Scientific Advisor of ASDEV. Ethelyn is a Doctoral Fellow with a specialization in Entomology at the University of Ghana. She is a results-driven, experienced, and innovative agricultural Entomologist. Ethelyn enjoys working with people from diverse groups, as part of a team, and independently. With a broad knowledge of Integrated Pest Management, plant virology, and composting, she has contributed to the vegetable production sector in Ghana through her research on providing alternative and safe options for organic production. She has diverse knowledge on handling pest situations on cereals, vegetables, legumes and some tree crops. Her research with the University of Cambridge, London also brought to light a devastating viral pathogen that causes considerable losses in cabbage cultivation in Ghana, evident in her publications. She is currently investigating the management of this viral pathogen and aphid and thrips diversity associated with vegetable crops in Ghana. She mainly works with farmers as an agricultural consultant and supports the application of indigenous knowledge/expertise to improve agricultural production.
SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR
Josaiah A. Achangoh is a Research Assistant of ASDEV. Josaiah is a field data enumerator of ASDEV and very skilled in using the mobile data collection device Kobo tool. He has a BSc in Agricultural Economics and an MSc in Agronomy from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He has a great interest in Developmental and International Humanitarian research, particularly in human rights protection and sustainable humanitarian aid and empowerment services. Josaiah has worked as a Data Collector with REACH-OUT NGO, Cameroon, a Marketing Monitor with Norwegian Refugee Council, and a Post Distribution Monitor (PDM) with Plan International, Cameroon, using ODK. Mobile app collection tool. He also has many years of classroom teaching and Research with the Ministry of Higher Education Cameroon.

Efed Bessy Takuh is a Research Assistant of ASDEV. Bessy is a specialist in data collection and is very grounded with the use of the mobile data collection device Kobo tool. She has a Bachelor of Education in educational psychology from the University of Buea, Cameroon. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Psychology at the University of Buea, Cameroon.
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Mora S. Nsah is a Research Assistant of ASDEV. She is a data collector of ASDEV and has skills in using the mobile data collection device Kobo tool. Mora has a BSc in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Buea, Cameroon. She is currently enrolled in a Master's program on Public Health and Hygiene in the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Buea, Cameroon. She previously served as a field researcher on humanitarian and social works with the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa (CHARDA). She has also served as a volunteer at the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER) where she volunteered in the civil status and technical department.

Nevie Forsuh is the Account of ASDEV. He holds a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Buea, Cameroon and an MSc in Accounting from the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. He is a PhD student with Accounting as an option at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. Nevie has several years of teaching and research with the Ministry of Higher Education Cameroon.
